01. 1. Mr. Rout, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners

and submits, death and injuries caused because of noise pollution

have brought his clients to Court. There are several disclosures

made, obtained from print media to substantiate his submission.

2. Ms. Dash, learned advocate, Additional Standing Counsel

appears on behalf of State.

3. We find from one press report, there was death of a 26 year

old youth as had fallen sick allegedly due to loud disc jockey (DJ)

music during immersion procession of Ganesh idol in Kendrapara

district. Petitioners have made mention of guidelines laid down by

the Supreme Court. On query made Mr. Rout prays for

adjournment to produce the judgment.
