02. 1. This is an application for release of the Appellant on bail.

2. The Petitioner having found guilty for the offence under Section 7 of the P.C. Act and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the said Act, has been sentenced to undergo RI for three years with a fine of Rs.5,000/- in default to undergo further RI for four months for the offence under Section 7 of the P.C. Act and R.I. for a period of four years with a fine of Rs.10,000/- in default to undergo further RI for the offence under Section 13(2) of the said Act directing both the sentences to run concurrently.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that that the Petitioner was on bail all along during the trial. However, he has been detained in custody from the date of passing of the judgment i.e. 12.12.2025.

4. Mr. S.K. Das, learned Standing Counsel for the Vigilance Department opposes the bail application of the Petitioner.

5. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

6. Having regard to the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner, he be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the learned trial court deems fit and proper.

7. The I.A. is accordingly disposed of.

03. 1. This is an application for stay of realization of fine.

2. Considering the submissions made, it is directed that the realization of the fine amount shall remain stayed till disposal of the criminal appeal.
