1. This appeal is taken up in the 4th National Level Lok Adalat through Virtual/Physical Mode in presence of the Advocates/Representatives of both the Parties.

2. Appearance memo filed by Mr. M. Sinha, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-Company filed in Court be kept on record.

3. Heard.

4. This appeal has been filed seeking enhancement of the award passed by the learned 1st M.A.C.T, Jajpur in MAC Case No. 65 of 2016 vide judgment dated 08.12.2022.

5. Vide the said judgment, the Tribunal allowed the claim of the appellant-claimant with a direction on the Respondent-company to pay sum of Rs.4,65,410/- along with interest @ 6% per annum payable from the date of application till the date of realization .

6. Learned counsel appearing for appellant-claimant though supported the impugned Judgment, but in course of hearing, it is agreed in between the Parties that Respondent-Company will pay further compensation amount of Rs.1,50,000/- consolidated over and above the award amount.

7. This Court considering the settlement arrived at in between the Parties, held the Respondent-Company to pay further compensation amount of Rs.1,50,000/- consolidated over and above the award amount.

8. It is directed that on such deposit of the award amount before the learned Tribunal, the same shall be disbursed in favour of the appellant-claimant within a period of (8) eight weeks in terms of judgment dt.08.12.2022 on proper identification.

9. However, it is observed that if the amount as directed is not deposited within the aforesaid time period, the compensation amount of Rs.1,50,000/- will carry interest @ 6% per annum payable for the period starting from the expiry of the period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

10. The compromise sheet signed in support of the settlement be kept in record.

11. The MACA is accordingly disposed of.
