07. 1. Pursuant to the order dated 03.07.2025 of this Court, the I.I.C., Orkel Police Station, District- Malkangiri has submitted a report dated 17.07.2025 before this Court. As per the said report, the appellant- Rama Hari Sahu is alive and residing at Kudumulugumma with his family. The said report is taken on record.

2. Mr. Sudipta Panda, learned counsel submits that he does not have the power in this case. He further submits that though the brief belongs to his old chamber, he does not have adequate papers in this case.

3. However, on the request of the Court, he is ready to argue this case as Amicus Curiae to assists the Court in the matter.

4. Heard Mr. Sudipta Panda, learned Amicus Curiae appearing for the appellant and Mr. A.K. Apat, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.

5. Hearing is concluded and judgment is reserved.
