01.     1.      Heard Mr. Mallick, learned counsel for the petitioner and
        Mr. Nayak, learned AGA for the State.

2. Instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner for a direction to opposite party No.2 to entertain the application from him for recording of the case land in her favour with the issuance of Hal RoR in view of the decision of this Court in W.P.(C) No.1608 of 2014 and batch matters (Narottam Rath Vrs. State of Odisha and another).

3. In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner refers to a copy of the judgment in Narottam Rath (supra) and submits that the case of the petitioner is covered by the same, hence, therefore, necessary direction may perhaps be issued to the concerned authority, namely, opposite party No.2 to do the needful within a stipulated period.

4. Recorded the submission of Mr. Nayak, learned AGA for the State.

5. Without expressing anything on merits of the case and considering the plea of the petitioner and submission of learned counsel appearing for him, the Court is inclined to direct opposite party No.2 to entertain any such application received from the petitioner with regard to issuance of Hal RoR in his favour and thereafter, to dispose it of keeping in view the decision in Narottam Rath (supra) followed by an order at the earliest preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and accordingly, it is ordered.

6. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed with the direction as aforesaid.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be issued as per rules.
