10. 1. This Court had on 28th November, 2018 passed an interim order to the effect that no polygraph test would be conducted on the Petitioners.

2. The judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Selvi v. State of Karnataka (2010) 7 SCC 263 is squarely applicable in the present case. Accordingly, the orders dated 2nd August, 2018 and 24th August, 2018 passed by the S.D.J.M., Baripada in G.R. Case No.717 of 2017 are hereby set aside.

3. The petition is accordingly disposed of. A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned trial Court forthwith.
