4. 1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode.

2. Mr. J. Sahoo has entered appearance on behalf of the Appellant after obtaining no objection from the previous counsel. He submits that the Vakalatnama has already been filed. The same be tagged to the case record. His name be reflected in the cause list as well as in the brief. The name of previous counsel be deleted.

List this matter after four months.

I.A. No.903 of 2021

5 1. The Petitioner-Appellant has been convicted for the offence under Section 376 of the I.P.C and sentenced to undergo R.I. for ten years. He was on bail for most of the time during trial. He has been in custody for one year nine months after passing of the impugned judgment.

2. Considering the fact that the appeal is not likely to be taken up for hearing in near future, I am inclined to direct release of the Petitioner-Appellant on interim bail for a period of four months from the date of his actual release on such terms and conditions as may be fixed by the convicting Court in S.T. Case No.68/2013/CIS No.170/2014 including the condition that he shall not misuse the liberty granted to him.

3. After expiry of the aforesaid period of four months, the Petitioner-Appellant shall surrender before the convicting Court, failing which appropriate warrant may be issued for his production.

4. I.A.is accordingly disposed of.
