01. 1. This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioners praying for a direction to the Opposite Parties to regularize the services of the Petitioners from the date of their joining and extend all consequential service benefits including the leave and pensionary benefits along with promotional benefits as per the terms of the provision of Pension Rules within a limited period of time.

2. During course of submission, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that they have filed a representation and reminder dated 10.9.1997 under Annexure-5 before the Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Bhubaneswar, for implementation of vocationalisation of Secondary (Higher Secondary) Education in the State of Orissa, which is pending consideration. A prayer is made to consider the said representation of the Petitioners expeditiously in the light of the judgment of this

Court dated 07.10.2021 passed in WPC(OAC) Nos.1074 and 1956 of 2017.

3. Considering the submission made and without going into the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Petitioners to file a fresh representation before the Opposite Party No.1 within a period of eight weeks from today. In such event, Opposite Party No.1 shall look into the same and take a decision on the same in the light of the judgment referred to hereinabove within a period of two months thereafter. Decision so taken on the fresh representation of the Petitioners shall be communicated to the Petitioners within two weeks thereafter.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
