Ms. N. Patnaik, learned counsel for the opposite parties is present. None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called. In this case, the petitioner has challenged the judgment dated 10.04.2006 in 1.C.C. Case No. 142 of 2005 passed by learned S.D.J.M., Panposh, Rourkela convicting the petitioner for commission of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced him to undergo S.I. for 2 years and to pay a compensation of Rs.3,00,000/- to the complainant and sentence which has been confirmed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rourkela in Criminal Appeal No. 25 of 2006.

In order to give another chance to the learned counsel for the petitioner to argue the case, list this matter on 02.12.2021.
