Heard Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

Issue notice, returnable within two weeks.

Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 and 2, hence no formal notice is called for in respect of the said respondents.

Petitioners are to take steps for service of notice upon the respondents No. 3 to 6 by way of speed post service.

Steps should be taken within one week and the petitioners are to file an affidavit showing proof of service of such notice.

The case of the petitioners is that they are senior to the private respondents No. 3 to 6 and that as per the policy of the State Government contained in Office Memorandum dated 03-10-2020,

in-charge arrangements are to be made strictly on the basis of seniority. It is also the case of the petitioners that without considering their case, the authorities have allowed the respondents No. 3 to 6 to hold the charge of the higher post of District Agriculture Officer/ Deputy Director. It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel that the petitioners will approach the authorities by filing appropriate representations to consider their case for giving such in-charge arrangements.

In view of the submission made above, let these cases be listed again on 25-02-2026.
