Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned senior counsel and DSGI assisted
by Mr. N. Nongdamba, learned counsel, appeared for the respondents
and submitted that subsequent to filing of this writ petition, the
authorities have make necessary correction in the impugned
advertisement by reserving 2(two) posts for persons with disabilities
and the selection process has been taken up by the authorities and
thereafter short listed candidates have been notified. The learned DSGI
further submitted that the present petitioner is one of the candidates
who is found to be eligible and amongst the short listed candidates.
In view of the above, it has been submitted by the learned
DSGI that the present writ petition has become infructuous and the
same can be closed.

Ningtamba, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that
he may be given 2(two) days' time to verify and to get necessary
instructions from the petitioner.
