Mr. K. Eengba Meitei, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned Sr. counsel and DSGI assisted by Mr. Nongdamba, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the state respondent through VC platform.

The only case of the petitioner is that his son obtained more mark than the private respondent nos. 4 to 11 in the selection test for admission in Class 6(six) in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for the session 2026-27.

Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned Sr. counsel and DSGI appearing for the state respondent seeks some time to verify whether the allegation made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is correct or not.
