BEFORE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.GUNESHWAR SHARMA 1.4.2026 This matter is taken up on mentioning as unlisted item due to urgency involved in the matter.

Petitioners are aggrieved by impugned order dated 26.3.2026 passed by the SDO, Porompat, Imphal East, directing the petitioners to vacate from the land within three days.

It is also stated that the petitioners have already approached this Court by way of WP(C) No.49 of 2026 challenging the earlier similar eviction order dated 5.8.2025 passed by the SDO, Porompat, Imphal East and vide order dated 22.1.2026, this Court gave liberty to the petitioners to approach the appellate forum. It is stated that the appeal was dismissed on 10.2.2026 and petitioners have not been given copy of the same and in the circumstance, could not approach the appropriate forum against the order of rejection of appeal.

Mr.Chittaranjan, learned Addl. A.G, Manipur along with Mr.Max, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents prays for some time for taking instruction.

List this case on 6.4.2026 (in the motion column). Status quo as on date will be maintained till the next date.
