Dr. Colin Gonsalves, learned senior counsel, appears for the appellants/applicants through video conferencing; Mr. M. Hemchandra, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel, appear for respondent Nos. 1 to 3 & 6 to 8; Mr. M. Rarry, learned Special State Counsel, appears for respondent Nos. 9 to 11; and Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI, appears for respondent No. 12.

It has been submitted at the bar that the judgment and order dated 27-03-2023 impugned in the present writ appeal has been subsequently reviewed by the judgment and order dated 21-02-2024 rendered by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Review Petition No. 12 of 2023.

In view of the subsequent development, Dr. Colin Gonsalves, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellants prays for and is granted 1 (one) weeks' time so as to enable him to satisfy this Court that the present appeal is maintainable without assailing the judgment and order dated 21-02-2024 passed in the Review Petition No. 12 of 2023.
