Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned Government Advocate, appears for the

applicants and Mr. N. Zequeson, learned counsel, appears for respondent

No. 1; and Mr. F.A. Khalid, learned counsel, appears for respondent No. 2.

The present application has been instituted on behalf of the applicants

seeking condonation of delay of 70 days in filing the accompanying writ

appeal, assailing the judgment and order dated 22-08-2023 passed in

WP(C) No. 192 of 2021.

Issue notice.

Mr. N. Zequeson, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of

respondent No. 1 and Mr. F.A. Khalid, learned counsel, accepts notice on

behalf of respondent No. 2 and fairly do not oppose the relief prayed for in

this application.

In view of the foregoing as well as the averments made in the

application, the delay of 70 days in filing the accompanying writ appeal is

condoned.

The Registry is directed to number the writ appeal, if it is found to be

in order and list the same for admission.
