Mr. BR Sharma, learned CGC, appears for the appellant.

Mr. Th. Khagemba, learned counsel, appears for respondent No. 1.

Mr. S. Samarjeet, learned Sr. PCCG, appearing for the Union of India,

seeks some more time to file an affidavit, in terms of the earlier order dated

26.04.2022.

Mr. Th. Khagemba, learned counsel, would however, point out that the

issue, in so far as the Union of India is concerned, is squarely settled by the

decision of this Court in W.A. No. 42 of 2020.

Mr. BR Sharma, learned CGC, seeks time to go through the said

judgment and advance arguments.

Reply, if any, shall be filed by the Union of India without fail by the

next date of hearing with advance copies to both the learned counsel.
