                     of 2024, dated 12.03.2025 and punish him under Section 11 of the
                     Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

                                                                ORDER

It is represented by both counsel that the cancellation of

mortgage has been executed on 20.03.2026. This is in compliance

with the directions issued by this Court on 12.03.2025 in

W.P.(MD)No.16911 of 2024.

2. As the writ petitioner has obtained the remedy only after

initiating contempt proceedings, the contemnor/Life Insurance

Corporation Housing Finance Limited, West Veli Street, Madurai, shall

pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) as costs to the

petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. The costs are

commensurate with the expenses incurred by the petitioner in

initiating the contempt petition.

3. In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed. In the

event of non-payment of costs, it is open to the petitioner to mention

the matter for restoration of the contempt petition.
