                    set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the Special Judge
                    cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur at Kumbakonam by a
                    judgment, dated 22.12.2017, in Special Case No.20 of 2014, and
                    acquit the accused.

                                                      JUDGMENT

This appeal has been filed to set aside the conviction and

sentence imposed by the Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate,

Thanjavur at Kumbakonam by a judgment, in Special Case No.20 of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2014, dated 22.12.2017, and to acquit the appellant.

2. This appeal is preferred by one Mr.P.Arumugam, third accused

in Special Case No.20 of 2014, pending appeal he had died on

26.02.2018.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the death

certificate of Mr.P.Arumugam, and the same is recorded. There is no

legal heirs are come forward to conduct the case of the appellant.

4. Hence, this Crl.A.(MD)No.20 of 2018 is dismissed as abated.
