Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India
praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to
consider the petitioner's representations dated 29.03.2023, 31.03.2023 and
01.04.2023 and consequently permit the petitioner's “B” Group to conduct
daily prayers peacefully in the Madina Masjid Tharadapet Village and Post,
Thandarampattu, Thiruvannamalai District.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking police protection based on the
representations/complaint given by the petitioner on 29.03.2023, 31.03.2023
and 01.04.2023.
2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted
that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is
pending in C.S.R.No.19 of 2023.

3. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry
and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the
judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in
2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall
take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be
completed by the respondent Police within a period of four weeks from the
date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
