                     PRAYER: Criminal Appeal filed under Section 374 of Criminal Procedure
                     Code, against the order of conviction dated 22.02.2017 passed in
                     S.S.C.No.16 of 2016 on the file of the Mahila Court, Perambalur in
                     imposing the sentence of 7 years rigourous imprisonment and fine of
                     Rs.3,000/- for the offence under Section 9(i)(n) r/w Section 10 of The
                     Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and imposing the
                     sentence of one year simple imprisonment and fine of Rs.1000/- for the
                     offence under Section 235(2) of I.P.C.

                                                       JUDGMENT

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has produced a letter

from the Superintendent of prison, Central prison, Trichy - 20, the

accused namely Senthil Kumar, S/o.Rengaraj concerned in Mahila Court,

Perambalur Cr.No.92 of 2016 was convicted and sentenced to Rigorous

Imprisonment for 7 years in S.S.C.No.16 of 2016 on the file of Mahila

Court, Perambalur and admitted in this prison on 13.03.2017. In this

regard, the said accused was earned 375 days remission and was

released on 19.01.2022 from this prison.

2. Recording the same, nothing survives in this appeal and

accordingly, this Criminal Appeal is disposed of. Consequently,

connected Crl.M.P is closed.
