                                               COMMON JUDGMENT


                           (Judgment of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.)


                                  Nothing survives in these matters, as pending appeals, both

                     writ petitioner as well as the unsuccessful candidates have retired. There

                     is no consequence to their retirement, which may be pursued by the

                     unsuccessful appellant / petitioner before us.

                                  2. That apart, learned counsel for the Alagappa University also

                     points out that pending writ appeals, there was round of selection for the

                     same cadre of posts ie., from Assistant Registrar to Deputy Registrar and

                     the appellant / petitioner had participated and was unsuccessful in that as

                     well, but has not chosen to challenge the result of that selection.

                                  3. Recording the aforesaid, these Writ Appeals are closed.
