This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the

proceedings in C.C.No.7615 of 2017 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan

Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai.

2. Heard Ms.A.Jagadeeswari, learned counsel for petitioners and

Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for

respondent.

3. The facts of this case is covered by the reported judgment of this

Court in 2018 2 LW (Crl) 606 [Jeevanandham and others Vs. State Rep.

by Inspector of Police and another].

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the

proceedings in C.C.No.7615 of 2017 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan
