This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the

proceedings in C.C.No.346 of 2018 pending on the file of learned Judicial

Magistrate II, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard Mr.P.Dhileepan, learned counsel for petitioner and

Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first

respondent.

3. The facts of this case is covered by the reported judgment of this

Court in 2018 2 LW (Crl) 606 [Jeevanandham and others Vs. State Rep.

by Inspector of Police and another].

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the

proceedings in C.C.No.346 of 2018 pending on the file of learned Judicial

Magistrate II, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District, are hereby quashed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
