Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned

counsel appearing for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to

withdraw the writ appeal and to that effect he has also circulated a letter to

the Registry on 09.01.2023.

2.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the

appellant and the letter circulated to the Registry, this Writ Appeal stands

dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous

Petition is closed.
