                                                         JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.)

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel

appearing on behalf of the appellant/Tamil Nadu State Transport

Corporation, Madurai Limited made a submission that the retirement

benefits due to the respondent employee had already been settled and the

learned counsel for the appellant submitted proof to establish that the

benefits were already settled.

2. In view of the fact that the retirement benefits due to the

respondent employee had already been settled, no further adjudication is

required. If any grievance exists to the respondent, he is at liberty to

approach the authorities for redressal of the same in the manner known to

law.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal stands closed. There shall be no

order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands

closed.
