                                                    JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR,J.)

Learned counsel appearing for the appellant fairly stated before this

Court that the appellant Institution has challenged the provisions of the

University Grants Commission Regulations of the year 2010 as ultravires.

However, subsequently, the University Grants Commission has framed

new Regulations in the year 2016, 2019 and 2023 therefore at this stage,

the aforesaid prayer has become infructuous. He seeks liberty to challenge

the new Regulations framed by the University Grants Commission and

hence liberty is granted to the appellant to challenge the same, if he is so

advised.

With the above observations, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed as

infructuous. No costs.
