                  A.S.Nos.378 and 392 of 2010, respectively, on the file of the V
                  Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, reversing the judgment and
                  decree dated 26.04.2010 passed in O.S.Nos.4386 and 4385 of 2009,
                  respectively, on the file of the XIII Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.

                                              COMMON JUDGMENT


                            Previously, when the matter came up for hearing on 07.01.2022,

                  Mr.Rajendra Kumar, learned counsel for the appellant has appeared

                  before this Court and reported “No instructions” from the appellant.

                  Hence, in view of the same, this Court, after recording the said

                  submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant, directed

                  the Registry to print the name of the appellant in the cause-list and to

                  list these matters under the caption 'For Dismissal' on 12.01.2022.

                  Accordingly, these cases were listed today under the caption 'For

                  dismissal'.



                            2. Today (19.01.2022), though the name of the appellant is

                  printed in the cause-list, there is no representation on behalf of the

                  appellant either in person or through counsel. The learned counsel

                  appearing for the respondents is present.



                            3. In view of the above, these Second Appeals are dismissed for

                  non prosecution. No costs.
