                  PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to pass
                  suitable order for punishing the respondents for wilfully disobeying the order
                  passed by this Court in WP(MD) No.8450 of 2017 dated 09.10.2018.

                                                      ORDER

When the contempt is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Chellapandian,

learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents, has produced

the copy of the judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.

(MD) No.645 of 2019, dated 15.02.2021. The writ appeal has been filed against

the decision of the learned Single Judge of this Court and the Division Bench has

issued the directions as under :

"4. In such view of the matter, the writ appeal stands disposed of by directing the appellants to put the respondent writ petitioner on notice, conduct an enquiry and thereafter pass a final order. Appropriate orders will have to be passed within eight weeks from

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondent writ petitioner is found to be entitled to continue the payment under the scheme, it should be paid accordingly from the date, in which, it is stopped. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. "

2. In view of the above directions of the learned Division Bench

against the order passed in WP(MD) No.8450 of 2017, no further orders are

necessary in the Contempt Petition and therefore, the same is closed. The

statutory notice already issued is hereby recalled.
