                     decree of the First Additional Subordinate Judge, Villupuram, dated

                     30.04.2004 made in A.S.Nos.35 and 75 of 2001 respectively, confirming

                     the Judgment and Decree dated 18.09.2000 made in O.S.No.1092 of 1995

                     on the file of the Second Additional District Munsif, Ulundurpet.

                                                 COMMON JUDGMENT



                                  When the second appeal was listed for hearing on 14.07.2021, it

                     was represented that there was some settlement arrived at between the

                     parties and for reporting settlement, it was adjourned to 04.08.2021.

                     Subsequently, when it was listed on 17.11.2021, there was no

                     representation on behalf of the appellants and hence it was directed to be

                     listed 'for dismissal' on 19.11.2021. Finally it was listed on 17.12.2021,

                     there was no representation on behalf of the appellants. Today, even

                     though these matters were listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is
