Counsel appearing for the appellant made a request for passing an order on I.A.No.18825/2024, which is an application for stay over the judgment and decree of divorce.

Indeed, Section 15 of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 permits the parties to perform marriage again if no appeal has been filed within prescribed period under law but if second marriage is performed, same will always be subject to final judgment and decree passed in first appeal. Rights of appellant are protected by Section 15, therefore, no order is required to be passed on I.A.No.18825/2024.

Application is dismissed.
