                                                                   ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to finalize his case of retiral dues.

2. The facts of the case are that a criminal case under the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against the petitioner and he was placed under suspension from 27.07.2015 to 30.09.2016. The petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 30.09.2016. It is stated that in the criminal case, the

petitioner has been acquitted by the judgment dated 01.12.2018. After the acquittal on 07.07.2023 and on 29.01.2024, the petitioner submitted representations to the respondents for grant of salary of the suspension period, grant of gratuity and increment, but till this date, they have not redressed his grievances.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the present petition is

NEUTRAL CITATION NO. 2024:MPHC-IND:29054

2 WP-4825-2024 disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2/Superintendent of Police, Ujjain to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2023 in accordance with the law within a period of one month from the date of filing of copy of the order passed today keeping in view the order of acquittal passed by the Court of Law by passing a reasoned and speaking order and if the petitioner is found entitled for the same, the same shall be paid to the petitioner in accordance with the law and if the respondent No. 2 is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for the same, the order shall be communicated to the petitioner.

4. With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed off.
