The present revision has been filed against the judgment passed in appeal whereby the appeal filed against the judgment of conviction and sentence has
been rejected and the conviction and sentence under Section 34(2) of the M.P. Excise Act has been confirmed.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the appellate court had granted time to the applicant to surrender within two weeks, failing which the CJM was directed to issue warrant of arrest. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is ready to surrender before the Trial Court.
Considering the aforesaid, the applicant is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within seven days from today and in the event of such surrender within seven days, the applicant shall be released on furnishing personal bond in
the amount of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with one solvent surety of the like amount.
Call for the record of the Trial Court as well the Appellate Court. List thereafter for admission.
