In the present case, the petitioner happens to be a 26 years old married woman and is seeking medical termination of her pregnancy of 16 weeks on account of the fact that she is having some serious disputes with her husband

and a case under Section 498(A), 294, 323 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act has also been lodged against him at Crime No.459/2023 registered at Police Station Rajendra Nagar, Indore.

Counsel for the petitioner has also relied upon certain judgments of the Supreme Court and the counsel for the State has submitted that he would need a day's time to go through them if such termination can be permitted.

Be that as it may, it is directed to the Medical Board, M.Y. Hospital, Indore to file its report if the pregnancy of the petitioner can be terminated. For

such purpose, she is directed to appear before the Medical Board tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. and the Medical Board is directed to submit its report day after tomorrow i.e. on 23.06.2023.

List the matter on 23.06.2023.
