An application (I.A. No.4137/2021) filed under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, is pending for consideration.

Parties are directed to remain personally present before the Registrar

(Judicial-II) for verification of aforesaid compromise on 21.02.2023.

Heard on I.A. No.4693/2021, an application for releasing the amount deposited by the applicant.

As per the impugned judgment, the appellant has been convicted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and compensation of Rs.2,30,000/- has been awarded in favour of the complainant. The applicant has deposited Rs.1,15,000/- before the trial Court. There is concurrent finding against the applicant. This revision shall take considerable time for disposal.

In view of the above, I.A. No.4693/2021 is allowed. It is directed that

Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) deposited by the applicant be released in favour of the respondent on his furnishing appropriate surety to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
