This review petition has been registered on the basis of PUD

dated 24.02.2021 received from 24th Additional Sessions Judge,

Indore seeking extension of time to decide Criminal Case

No.178/2017 (State of M.P. V/s. Santosh and Others).

2. This Court while dismissing M.Cr.C. No.23169/2020 by order

dated 26.08.2020 had directed the trial Court to complete the trial and

pronounce the judgment within six months from the date when the

trial commences.

3. Having regard to the circumstances which are disclosed in PUD

dated 24.02.2021 and specially taking note of the fact that due to

Covid-19 pandemic progress of the trial has been effected, I am of the

opinion that the Review Petition deserves to be and is accordingly

allowed and the trial Court is granted further period of six months

from today to decide the pending criminal case.
