In this case, appellant has filed an application for final disposal in light of the judgment passed by the Apex Court in case of Indore Development Authority Vs. Mamnolarlal and Ors. (SLP(C)) Nos.9036-9038/2016. Along with this application entire photocopy of the Judgment runs into 322 pages has been filed. In the front page of the judgment it is mentioned as "Reportable judgment". Once the judgment has reported then only the citation is required to be mentioned in the application or disclose during the argument. But we

have noticed that lawyers are filing photocopies of reportable judgments in the cases as documents or annexures. When the judgments are reported photocopies are not liable to be filed because this court subscribes all the journals as well as all the judges have subscriptions of SCC Online, AIR Online etc. Therefore, the members of the BAR are requested not to file photocopies of the judgments which are already been reported in the journals or available online in order to save the papers. These photocopies of judgment not only consumes the space in record room but also burdens on the staff for movement of the files from section to court room.
