The petitioner is retired employee from the post of Work Charge Waterman and is aggrieved by non-grant of pension.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed a representation dated 26.7.2020 (Annexure P/4) in this regard before the

authority concerned, and prays that the same be decided in the light of judgment passed in the case of Lalsingh vs. State of M.P. and others , W.P.No.11238/2012 dated 10.12.2013.

Learned Panel Lawyer for the respondent/State has no objection to the said innocuous prayer.

Considering the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.1/Executive Engineer and No.3/ Treasury Officer to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in the light of judgment passed in the case of Lal si ngh (supra), preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of

receipt/production of certified copy/e-copy of the order passed today by this Court.

However, it is made clear that this Court has not opined on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of. Certified copy/e-copy as per rules/directions.
