With the consent of parties, this matter has been placed before this Lok Adalat under Section 20 of the Legal Services & Authorities Act, 1987; and heard finally.

ORDER This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by petitioner seeking a direction to grant the benefit of second Kramonnati, after completion of 24 years' service from the date of initial appointment i.e. 15.11.1975; and fix the pay of the petitioner with all consequential benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that the controversy involved in the matter is finally decided by this Court in Writ Petition No.6773/2006 (Prerna Koranne v. State of MP) vide order dated 26.04.2007. The petitioner submits that he / she intend to prefer a representation, which may be directed to be decided by the respondents, in the light of the judgment in Prerna's case (supra), within a stipulated time.

3. The aforesaid innocuous relief prayed for is not opposed by learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent / State.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits and entitlement of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with the following directions:-

(1) The petitioner shall prefer detailed representation along with the judgment in Prerna's case (supra) on which he / she wants to place reliance and file it before respondents, within 10 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.

(2) The said respondents shall consider and examine the applicability of such judgment in case of the petitioner. In the event the authorities

come to the conclusion that the petitioner is entitled for similar benefits and claims, same be paid to the petitioner within 60 days. The respondents while deciding the representation shall pass a reasoned and speaking order.

5. With the aforesaid observation, Writ Petition No.17867/2020 stands disposed of.

6. All the other pending interlocutory applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
