ORDER
Admit.
2. Issue notice by speed post to
respondents 1 to 10. The learned Government
Pleader takes notice for respondents 11 and 12.
3. The petitioner Society has filed this writ
petition challenging Exts.P10 to P19 awards
passed by the Arbitrator/Assistant Registrar
(Planning) under Section 69(1) of the Kerala Co-
operative Societies Act, 1969 (for 'short, 'the
Act') and Ext.P24 Judgment passed by the Co-
operative Tribunal under Section 82 of the Act. It
is contended by the petitioner that the
Arbitrator/Assistant Registrar has no jurisdiction
to decide the dispute since the claim of
respondents 1 to 10 is for monetary benefits
consequential to the outcome of a service related
dispute and the jurisdiction vests with the Co-
operative Arbitration Court constituted under
Section 70A of the Act.
4. There will be a stay of Exts.P10 to P19
Awards and Ext.P24 Judgment for a period of one
month.
Post on 21.10.2024.
