                             JUDGMENT

(Dated this the 6th day of September 2024)

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police

protection for the petitioner and his wife to open their office

M/s.Stratford Travel Experts at Palanickal Building,

Kanjiramattom Junction, Thodupuzha. The notice issued from

this Court has been accepted by the 3rd respondent.

2. The learned Government Pleader, on

instructions, submitted before this Court that as many as 400

persons have lodged complaints against the petitioner, alleging

that he has taken money from students assuring admissions in

overseas, and a crime has been registered against the petitioner

by the Thodupuzha Police Station as crime No. 781/2021 for the

offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC.

3. An interim order was passed by this Court on

10.08.2021 that if any law and order problem exists, the police 2024:KER:68008 WP(C) 14515/2021

shall do the needful. It was made clear that if the petitioner

does not have any license or permit from the authorities, he

cannot do any business.

In view of the order passed by this Court earlier, this

writ petition stands disposed of directing the police to see that

there is no law and order situation in that area.
