                               JUDGMENT

The pleadings in the writ petition and the arguments

advanced clearly indicate that, in connection with the dispute

highlighted in this writ petition, a civil suit and criminal complaints

are pending. Moreover, no imminent threat or commission of

offence warranting police protection is made out.

The writ petition is hence closed, reserving the petitioner's

right to approach the police in the event of threat to his life or

physical harm at the hands of the party respondents. If any such

complaint is received, the police shall take immediate action.
