                            JUDGMENT

The present writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of

mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction to the 2 nd

respondent to entertain Ext.P2 application for temporary permit on the

route Kallidikkode - Valamboor.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the stage

carriage bearing registration No.KL.53/V 2162. The petitioner has

applied for regular permit on the route Kallidikkode - Valamboor on

29.06.2024.

3. The petitioner's application for regular permit is still

pending consideration and in the meantime the petitioner had applied

for temporary permit.

4. I am of the view that when the petitioner's

application for regular permit is still pending for consideration, the

petitioner does not have right to apply for temporary permit on the

said route.

Therefore, the present writ petition is dismissed. However,

the authorities are directed to take expeditious disposal on Ext.P1

application of the petitioner for regular permit preferably within a

period of two months.
