                                JUDGMENT

Dated this the 17th day of October, 2024

The petitioner is aggrieved by the sudden freeze

imposed on his account by the respondent bank.

2. The Standing Counsel for the bank

submits on instructions that the freeze was imposed on

noticing certain transactions which did not match the

petitioner's account profile.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner

submits that his client has provided the KYC details and

has also offered explanation with respect to those

transactions.

In view of the above submissions, the writ

petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to

consider petitioner's explanation along with his KYC

details and, if satisfied, lift the freeze imposed on

account immediately.
