                              JUDGMENT

Dated this the 2nd day of November, 2024

This writ petition is filed alleging that the 3 rd

respondent, father-in-law of the petitioner, is harassing

him unnecessarily. The petitioner is therefore seeking

police protection from the atrocities of the 3 rd

respondent.

2. Heard, learned Counsel for the

petitioner, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the 3 rd

respondent and the learned Government Pleader.

3. From the arguments and the averments

in the writ petition, it is evident that some disputes are

pending between the 3rd respondent, his daughter and

the petitioner. Admittedly, the parties are residing in the

house belonging to the 3rd respondent. In such

circumstances, it will be ill-advised for this Court to

direct the police to intervene, especially when the 3 rd

respondent is a person aged more than 75 years. It is WP(C) NO. 22126 OF 2024

2024:KER:81577

for the parties to resolve their disputes amicably, rather

than precipitating the matter.

The writ petition is hence closed.
