                                   JUDGMENT

The present writ petition has been filed with the following

prayers:-

1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction or order to the first respondent to consider and dispose the application of petitioner to correct the date of birth in the passport and make necessary entry regarding the same in the passport on the basis of exhibit P8 office memorandum issued by the authorities by verifying exhibit P6 school certificate and P7 birth certificate and other relevant documents within a reasonable period which this honourable court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and circumstances of the case.

2. Such other writ, order or direction which this Honorable Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and circumstances of the case.

3. Dispense with filing of translation of vernacular documents produced along with writ petition.

The petitioner was issued a passport in 1990 with his Date of

Birth 20.03.1977. The Passport was renewed several times

thereafter. In 2024, the petitioner wants his date of birth changed.

This court finds no justification to issue any direction for such a

relief, and therefore, this writ petition is dismissed.
