     Application praying that in the circumstances stated in the
affidavit filed therewith the High Court be pleased to condone the delay
of 27 days in filing the appeal against the judgment of conviction dated
28.02.2024 in SC 780/2024 on the file of Hon'ble Fast Track Special Court,
Chavakkad for the interest of justice.


     This Application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and the affidavit filed in support thereof, and upon hearing the arguments
of M/S.K.K.SUBEESH, ROY THOMAS (MUVATTUPUZHA), Advocates for the
petitioner and of the PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the respondent, the court

                                       ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 5 of the Limitation

Act. There is a delay of 27 days in filing the appeal. Petitioner

has been in jail since the date of conviction. Having regard to

that fact, the delay is condoned.

Petition stands allowed.

objections, if any.
