                           JUDGMENT

Dated this the 28th day of May, 2024

The petitioner has applied for Regular Permit for Stage

Carriage bearing registration No.KL-52-0468 on the route

Keezhumad-Mavoor-Palayam. Ext.P2 decision was taken by

the respondent on 27.02.2024. The petitioner seeks to direct

the respondent to issue Regular Permit as per Ext.P2

decision by considering Ext.P3 application submitted by the

petitioner.

2. It is evident that Ext.P3 is an application for

Regular Permit, which has statutory support. Therefore, it is

necessary that the competent authority considers Ext.P3 in

accordance with law within a reasonable time.

The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing

the respondent-Regional Transport Authority to consider WP(C) NO.18138 OF 2024

Ext.P3 application for Regular Permit as per Ext.P2

decision, within a period of two months, after giving

opportunity of hearing to the affected parties.
