              ------------------------------
Con. Case No. 1485 of 2023

Dated this the 03rd day of July, 2024

                               ORDER

Read the orders dated 14.03.2024 and

28.06.2024.

2. Admittedly, the writ appeal filed by the Water

Authority against the judgment is dismissed as

withdrawn. The time to comply with the directions in

the judgment was extended twice and the second order

was confirmed by the Division Bench. Even now, the

respondents are not ready to comply with the

directions.

3. The 2nd respondent appeared in person before

this Court.

4. I am of the prima facie opinion that, this is a

clear case of contempt. Therefore, the respondents

shall appear in person before this Court on 17.07.2024.

In the meanwhile, if the directions are complied with or

if the judgment is varied or modified, the appearance is

dispensed with. I also make it clear that the

respondents should bear the expenses personally for

appearing before this Court.

Issue a copy of this order to the Standing Counsel

appearing for the respondents who will communicate the

same to the respondents.
