WP(C) NO. 5109 OF 2024

JUDGMENT
Amidst the various allegations, averments and assertions
made and urged in this writ petition, all which the petitioner
requires is that the fourth respondent - District Supply Officer,
be directed to take up and dispose of Ext.P2 application made
by him, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. In response to the afore submission of the petitioner as
made by his learned counsel - Smt.Limna Bhaskaran,
Smt.Vidya Kuriakose - learned Government Pleader, submitted
that if Ext.P2 has not been already disposed of, there does not
appear to be any legal impediment in doing so; however,
praying that this Court may not make any affirmative
declarations and leave it to the said Authority to take an
apposite decision, as per law.
3. In the afore circumstances, I allow this writ petition
and direct the fourth respondent to take up Ext.P2 application
of the petitioner and dispose it of, if it has not been already
done, after affording an opportunity of being heard to him,
thus culminating in an appropriate order and necessary action
thereon, as expeditiously as is possible, but not later than one WP(C) NO. 5109 OF 2024
month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
If, on the contrary, Ext.P2 has already been disposed of,
then the fourth respondent will communicate the order on the
same to the petitioner within the afore time frame.
