                        ---------------------------------------
Dated this the 4th day of April, 2024

                                    JUDGMENT

Petitioner has sought for a direction not to proceed with the trial in

S.C.No.216/2020 pending on the files of the Additional District Court

(Adhoc), Thodupuzha. The reasons stated for claiming such a relief is that

the Forensic Science Laboratory report relating to the viscera collected

from the body of the deceased had not been obtained from the

Laboratory.

2. When the matter came up for consideration on 28.02.2024, this

Court recorded the submission of the learned Additional Director General

of Prosecution that expeditious steps will be initiated to submit the FSL

report to the court without undue delay.

3. Today, it was submitted that the FSL report has already been

made available to the Trial Court in the interregnum, and the case is now

posted to 20.04.2024 for scheduling the trial.

4. In view of the above, no further orders are required and the Trial

Court is at liberty to proceed with the trial, as expeditiously as possible.

The original petition is disposed of as above.
